12/11/2024, 13:58The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the completion of the destruction of residual excise stamps of the previous design.
The destruction process was carried out by burning in a specially equipped furnace, under the supervision of an interdepartmental commission responsible for controlling the destruction of excise stamps.
All remaining excise stamps manufactured before 2024 and stored in the bank were completely destroyed. This action was carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, according to which the circulation of alcoholic beverages with excise stamps dated 2023 and earlier is prohibited on the territory of the country.
In response to this, the tax service is actively engaged in issuing excise stamps of a new sample of 2024 to ensure their replacement.
