In order to provide state support to agricultural producers of the Kyrgyz Republic in the timely conduct of agricultural works in 2024, the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of 26 January 2024 on the project ‘Financing of Agriculture-12’ was approved.

This project is aimed at timely implementation of spring field work in agriculture, as well as to support entrepreneurs and individuals in the country for the development of livestock and crop production using available and favourable credit facilities.

Joint stock companies ‘Ayil Bank’ and ‘Eldik Bank’ are involved in the implementation of the project, the total amount of crediting is 5 billion KGS. By early December, preferential loans totalling KGS 4 billion 446.11 million had been issued under the project. In particular, in the livestock sector KGS 3 billion 972.27 million were granted to 9 thousand 726 entities in the form of soft loans.

In the crop production sector, KGS 473.84 million were granted to 1 thousand 426 entities.
