    The Manas airport shares were the most traded last week

    Last week the total volume of trades on the KSE trading floor amounted to 24.44 mln KGS. 34 deals in government and corporate securities were registered.

    Transactions with corporate shares of companies (85.6%) accounted for the major part of the trading volume, mainly thanks to the issue of the 4th issue of the OJSC “Manas International Airport” shares.

    State securities

    Three deals were made in government treasury bonds (GTB) with a two-year maturity for a total of KGS 516.81 mln, the GTB price on the deals was in the range of KGS 85.52, and the weighted average yield equalled 13.5%.

    Corporate securities

    On the primary market, four deals with common shares of the OJSC “International airport ‘Manas’ for 3 billion 87.8 million KGS were registered. The total volume of deals in corporate bonds amounted to 3.2 million KGS.

    The second issue of OJSC MFC “InvesCor SA” for 2.29 million KGS and the fifth issue of the OJSC MFC “ABN” for 910,000 KGS.

    In the secondary market, where common shares and bonds of the companies were traded, 15 deals for a total of KGS 1.02 mln were registered. Shares of the OJSC “Manas International Airport”, OJSC “Kyrgyzneftegaz”, OJSC “Teskim”, OJSC “Central Counterparty”, OJSC “Automobilist” OJSC were traded in small volumes for 590,000 KGS. Bonds were also placed with the IFC Elet-Capital CJSC, IFC ABN OJSC, IFC InvesCor SA OJSC, and Star Shina LLP in small volumes for 430,000 KGS. Trades were conducted at face value.

    Note that the official list of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange contained securities of 35 companies. The week's trading volume was 100% presented by transactions with securities of listed companies.

    As of September 20, 2024, the capitalization of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange amounted to 130.15 billion KGS, the KSE index rose to 3,735.08 points (+16.03) due to the placement of shares of the 4th issue of the OJSC “Manas International Airport”.
