By 2030, funding for healthcare is planned to reach 130 billion KGS

By 2030, funding for healthcare is planned to reach 130 billion soms. This was announced by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev during the opening ceremony of a new children's wing at the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital in the capital.

In his speech, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted the special role of the infectious diseases service in ensuring the epidemiological safety of the country. He expressed his gratitude to the medical staff for their selfless work and high professionalism.

The new three-storey building is designed to treat children suffering from infectious diseases and meets modern medical standards. It has isolated boxes and semi-boxes, ventilation and air filtration systems, and comfortable conditions for patients and their parents. The hospital grounds have been landscaped, and modern diagnostic and treatment technologies have been introduced.

On behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov, Adylbek Kasymaliyev congratulated the hospital staff on the opening of the new building and thanked everyone who contributed to the project.
Adylbek Kasymaliyev also emphasised that the state attaches particular importance to the development of the healthcare system.

«Whereas previously around 600 facilities were built in the country each year, in 2025 more than 3,000 will be built using the state budget, 32 of which will be medical facilities. Over the past two years, the healthcare budget has been increased from 22 to 49 billion KGS. In 2025, 2.5 billion soms will be allocated for haemodialysis alone, compared to 300 billion in 2022. By 2030, it is planned to increase funding for medicine to 130 billion KGS», — said the head of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Prime Minister emphasised that systematic work in the field of medicine is aimed at strengthening the health of citizens, developing human capital and ensuring a sustainable future for the country.
