The Kyrgyz Cabinet has simplified the document processing procedures for foreign citizens and stateless persons

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a resolution aimed at simplifying administrative procedures related to the stay of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the country.

The document introduces temporary regulations on the procedure for issuing residence cards in the Kyrgyz Republic, which will remain in force until July 1, 2026. The new regulations are designed to streamline the process of obtaining official resident status and to increase the transparency and efficiency of migration administration.

A number of state bodies, including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Internal Affairs, Labor, Social Security and Migration, the State Committee for National Security, the state agency “Kyzmate” and the State Tax Service, are responsible for implementing the provisions of the decree and taking the necessary measures for its enforcement.
