The Cabinet of Ministers approved 3 key projects for 2025

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic approved the list of major investment projects aimed at the development of key sectors of the country's economy.

According to Azamat Kadyraliev, Head of the Presidential Administration, the list includes 6 energy projects, 9 projects to create sustainable cities and villages, 3 industrial projects, 11 initiatives in transport and logistics, 11 tourism projects, as well as projects to exploit mineral resources and irrigation.

Among the key projects are the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the implementation of Kambar-Ata HPP-1 and the second hydro unit of Kambar-Ata HPP-2, as well as the cross-border motorway through the Bedel Pass. The infrastructure development programme includes improvement of airports and construction of regional roads, including implementation of the President's instruction to pave roads to every village.

Special attention is paid to tourism development, including the construction of the Kyrgyz Kursheveli complex, as well as the creation of new mining clusters and the implementation of 10 irrigation projects. Among the key initiatives are projects to improve water resources and increase agricultural potential.

The approved list, as Azamat Kadyraliev noted, is not final and will be supplemented with new initiatives that can strengthen the country's economy and improve the living conditions of citizens.
