Kasymaliyev announced the largest increase in salaries for public sector employees since 2022

At a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Adylbek Kasymaliyev announced a large-scale increase in wages in 2026. According to him, it will be the most significant since 2022.

He recalled that in 2025, salaries had already been increased for certain categories of budgetary personnel, including technical and junior service personnel, freelance and civilian employees. The change also affected some employees who are not classified as civil servants.

In addition, the salaries of law enforcement and military personnel, scientists, judges, employees of the Tax and Customs Services, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Central Election Commission, the Probation Department, and the Legal Aid Service were increased.

"From April 1, 2026, the salaries of teachers, doctors, social workers, cultural and sports workers, as well as technical and junior service personnel will increase by at least 50%. From September 1, 2026, allowances will increase to 50% for state and municipal employees. This applies to those who are not classified as civil servants, as well as technical and junior service personnel of state and local authorities and civilian employees of law enforcement agencies," said the head of the Cabinet.
