11/08/2024, 14:47The award was presented to Marat Pirnazarov, Chairman of the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the 41st session of ISAR, which took place on 6-8 November 2024 at the Palais des Nations (Geneva, Switzerland).
The ISAR Award recognises policy, institutional and capacity-building initiatives that encourage and help businesses to publish data on their contribution to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and contribute to improving companies‘ sustainability reporting, including by promoting the integration of sustainability information such as environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues into organisations’ reporting cycle.
Note, that at KSE, the Sustainable Development Sector was established to form a sustainable finance system through responsible investment in environmentally and socially significant projects.
Currently, the sector includes sustainable financial instruments such as green, social bonds, and sustainable development bonds issued by private, public or international organisations that comply with the principles of:
Green Bond Principles (GBP);
Social Bond Principles (SBP);
Green Loan Principles (LMA, LSTA).
