07/31/2026, 12:43Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC and AzerGold CJSC have signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation as part of the state visit to Kyrgyzstan by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The document is aimed at developing cooperation between the companies in the field of precious metal mining and processing.
The memorandum forms part of a package of bilateral documents signed following talks between the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, Sadyr Zhaparov and Ilham Aliyev. The parties also concluded a Treaty on Alliance Relations and agreed to expand cooperation in the transport, energy, investment, digital and financial sectors.
In addition to the agreement between the gold mining companies, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan signed documents on cooperation in the supply of oil and petroleum products, the financial market, statistics, cyber security, freight transport and the development of regional ties.
