Kyrgyzstan and Angola have established diplomatic relations

On September 26, 2024, in New York on the margins of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, a ceremony for the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Angola was held. The joint communiqué was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev and the Minister of External Relations of the Republic of Angola Tete Antonio.

The parties agreed to develop political dialogue and multifaceted cooperation through bilateral consultations and high-level visits. The main areas of interaction were education, combating climate change, tourism, security and cooperation within the framework of international organizations.

Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev asked Angola to support Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for 2027-2028, as well as to assist Kyrgyzstan in obtaining observer status in the African Union.

Angola became the 172nd country with which Kyrgyzstan established diplomatic relations.

Advertising structures erected without permission have been dismantled in the Sverdlovsk district
Employees of the Land Use Control Department of the Bishkek City Hall, together with the State Agency «Bishkekglavarhitektura», dismantled advertising structures on the section of Moskovskaya Street from Ibraimova Street to Gogol Street, as well as on Suyumbaeva Street.

As part of the reform being carried out by the Ministry of Energy, a number of energy facilities are being reconstructed. In addition, old wooden supports are being replaced with reinforced concrete ones, and new ones are being installed in some areas.
