From June 11 to 13, a delegation from the EU Council Working Party on Relations with Eastern Europe and Central Asia visited Kyrgyzstan to discuss important areas of cooperation. Meetings were held with representatives of key ministries, ranging from foreign affairs to digital development and the environment.

The parties focused on sustainable development, combating climate change, protecting human rights, and the rule of law. Particular attention was paid to investment projects in hydropower, renewable energy sources, and the mining industry, as well as prospects in the field of digital technologies and innovation.

The EU delegation also familiarized itself with the implementation of ongoing projects, which demonstrates a willingness to expand cooperation and support the development of key sectors of the Kyrgyz economy.
