08/01/2025, 10:24The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany, Omurbek Tekebaev, visited the German Agricultural Training Centre DEULA—Nienburg (Lower Saxony).
The visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Germany in the field of agriculture, the introduction of innovative technologies and the development of dual education.
In addition, the main purpose of the trip was to discuss prospects for cooperation with DEULA-Nienburg and to visit students from Kyrgyzstan who are undergoing practical training at agricultural enterprises in Germany.
During the visit, Ambassador Omurbek Tekebaev held talks with Bernd Antelmann, Managing Director of the DEULA-Nienburg Academy. During the meeting, Ambassador Omurbek Tekebaev emphasised Kyrgyzstan's interest in learning from Germany's experience in the automation and digitalisation of agriculture, as well as in adapting the cooperative model to improve the competitiveness of Kyrgyz farmers. Particular attention was paid to expanding dual training programmes for students from Kyrgyzstan, including internships and German language courses.
In addition, Ambassador Omurbek Tekebaev visited the agricultural enterprise AOL GbR in Steimbeck, which specialises in dairy farming, where he met with the management and a student from the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University, Nargiza Omurbekova. There was also a visit to the Hof Springhorn farm and tourist complex in Zoltaw, where the ambassador chatted with the company's management and student Nurbol Sadyrkulov.
The visit provided an opportunity to further expand cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany in the field of agriculture and the application of advanced German technologies and best practices, and demonstrated the successful integration of Kyrgyz students into the German dual education system in the agricultural sector.
