Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong discussed investment cooperation in the fields of tourism and Islamic finance

Meerimbek Koichumanov, Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan, met with a delegation from the China-Hong Kong International Trade and Economic Association (CHKETIA), led by Vice-President William Chan.

Representatives of the travel company Sky Angel Travel (Asia) Limited also took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong, including in the fields of tourism, the halal food industry and Islamic finance.
Koichumanov outlined the opportunities for implementing investment projects in Kyrgyzstan and identified promising areas for attracting foreign investment.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in continuing the dialogue, strengthening business ties and developing mutually beneficial investment cooperation.
