Kyrgyzstan and Russia to discuss cooperation in economic and investment spheres

As part of the VII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum, held in parallel with the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, a round table on investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia will take place on 14 August.

The event is organised by the National Investment Agency.

The round table will be a key platform for discussing topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the economic and investment spheres, including: the development of investment infrastructure; the removal of barriers to attracting foreign direct investment; the implementation of joint cooperation projects; and the presentation of the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic to representatives of Russian business.

The event will be attended by representatives of state and local authorities, the business community of both countries, industry ministries and departments. International and regional investors, logistics and industrial companies, export and investment agencies, commercial banks and business associations will also take part.

The event aims to strengthen bilateral partnership, develop cooperation in key sectors of the economy and create favourable conditions for the implementation of joint investment initiatives.
