Kyrgyzstan increases fruit and vegetable exports: stable growth in 2025

In the first five months of 2025, fruit and vegetable exports from Kyrgyzstan grew significantly. Carrots alone accounted for 15,453 tons of exports, which is 3,000 tons more than in the same period last year. Supplies of cabbage (+2,936 tons) and pumpkin (+3,672 tons) also increased, confirming the stable demand for Kyrgyz agricultural products.

Fruits and berries are also showing steady growth. Apple exports increased by almost 9,814 tons, pears by 6,427 tons, cherries by 2,758 tons, and strawberries by 2,347 tons. The increase in supplies is due to product quality, favorable weather conditions, and the strengthening of domestic farmers' positions in foreign markets.

According to experts' forecasts, export demand for berries, apples, tomatoes, peppers, and fresh greens is expected to grow by the end of the season. The Kyrgyz agricultural sector continues to develop, actively supplying fresh and high-quality products that are increasingly chosen by foreign consumers.
