Kyrgyzstan Increases Dried Fruit Exports to Turkey

In an effort to expand dried fruit exports to the Turkish market, an important business meeting was held in Ankara on 2 December 2024. The Trade Representative under the Ministry of Economy in Turkey, Chyngyz Toktobekov, held talks with the founder of Ünal Kuruyemiş, KGS Faruk Erbil.

As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached for Kyrgyz producers to submit business proposals to be considered by the Turkish company.

If Kyrgyz exporters show interest, Ünal Kuruyemiş is ready to sign a contract for the supply of goods such as nuts, beans, lentils, dried apricots, prunes and other dried fruits.

Founded in 1956 in Ankara, Ünal Kuruyemiş is engaged in the production and sale of food products, including dried fruits and nuts. Today, the company has around 60 branches in Turkey and several in Europe, providing employment for 300 employees.
