Kyrgyzstan plans to borrow 1 billion KGS, due in 2036

The National Bank will hold an auction today, August 21, to issue 10-year government treasury bonds. The government plans to raise up to 1 billion KGS, which are due to be redeemed in August 2036.

The issue date for the securities is set for August 24. The coupon rate will be 8% per annum.

At the same time, an auction will be held to issue five-year bonds for an additional 1 billion KGS. The rate for this issue is set at 6% per annum, and the maturity date is August 2031. Coupons will be paid twice a year—on February 24 and August 24.

Thus, the total announced volume of the two issues amounts to 2 billion KGS.
