Kyrgyzstan has completely stopped selling dried vegetables to more than five countries

For the period from January to November 2024, Kyrgyzstan exported 141.2 tonnes of dried vegetables, which is significantly lower than the level for the same period in 2023, when the figure was 667.7 tonnes. The main changes occurred in exports to countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.

Exports to Afghanistan ceased completely in 2024, while shipments to Iraq totalled 45.8 tonnes, down significantly from last year's 276.9 tonnes. Exports to Turkmenistan and Ukraine also declined.

However, against the background of a drop in the total volume of shipments, positive changes were recorded. In 2024, Kyrgyzstan started supplying dried vegetables to Germany (6.5 tonnes), Italy (0.1 tonnes) and France (1.3 tonnes). In addition, exports to the United Arab Emirates increased to 47.8 tonnes, up from 37.1 tonnes in 2023, and the Republic of Korea also significantly increased its purchases to 9.9 tonnes.
