09/19/2026, 15:43Between January and July 2026, Kyrgyzstan received $1.8 billion in remittances from individuals. For the same period in 2025, the figure stood at almost $1.98 billion.
According to the National Bank, the inflow of remittances over the seven-month period fell by approximately $180.5 million. The bulk of the money continues to come from CIS countries.
CIS countries accounted for around $1.67 billion of remittances, of which $1.63 billion came from Russia.
For January–July 2025, the total inflow stood at $1.98 billion.
