10/28/2025, 15:10Kyrgyzstan has unveiled the most advanced language model for the Kyrgyz language, AiRUN, developed by the team of the same name. The new system has demonstrated its superiority over international counterparts in text comprehension and generation tasks, becoming the world's number one model for the Kyrgyz language.
AiRUN was trained on the largest national data corpus — nearly 59 million words — which gave it record-breaking grammatical accuracy and semantic coherence in its responses. According to the results of international tests, the model outperformed leading solutions from Gemma, DeepSeek, and Qwen, showing the best results in logic, context, and “human” understanding of language.
AiRUN test scores:
For comparison, foreign counterparts scored between 53 and 86%.
Previously, the Kyrgyz language was virtually unsupported by major international AI platforms. Now, thanks to AiRUN, companies and government agencies will be able to create smart systems in the Kyrgyz language with an accuracy of up to 95%. This opens up opportunities for:
In addition to text processing, AiRUN supports STT and TTS voice technologies, which will enable the launch of autonomous voice assistants, AI operators for call centers, and voice interfaces for e-gov and banks.
"We have proven that Kyrgyzstan can be a creator of AI technologies, not just a consumer. AiRUN is a step towards digital sovereignty and technological independence. Our language is now at the center of innovation," said Chyngyz Arziev, CEO of AiRUN.
The team is already working on expanding the model's parameters, supporting dialects, and launching the KG-RU-EN multilingual mode.
The Kyrgyzstan High-Tech Park emphasizes that the creation of national language models is a key step towards strengthening the country's digital sovereignty and expanding the presence of the Kyrgyz language in the field of artificial intelligence.
