Kyrgyzstan has invited Cambodian businesses to invest in the ‘Tamchy’ special financial and investment zone

The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, has invited Cambodian businesses to participate in investment projects in the ‘Tamchy’ special financial and investment zone on Lake Issyk-Kul. This issue was discussed on 15 October at a meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet in Baku.

The parties also discussed the expansion of trade and economic ties, cooperation in the financial and banking sectors, and the development of tourism.

Hun Manet expressed interest in strengthening bilateral relations and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

In addition, Zhaparov invited Cambodia to take part in the Second Global Mountain Summit ‘Bishkek+25’, which will be held in Bishkek from 21 to 23 October 2027 in conjunction with the UN.
