01/17/2025, 13:43In the first 11 months of 2024, the UK bought back more than 13 tonnes of Kyrgyz gold. According to statistics, the volume of gold shipments to the UK in monetary terms amounted to $1 billion 68 million. This is evidenced by the data of the National Statistics Committee.
The total volume of gold exports from Kyrgyzstan for the first 11 months of 2024 was 16.1 tonnes, or $1.262 billion. The main volume of supplies is made to the UK. Other countries have stopped actively buying Kyrgyz gold since the middle of last year. China purchased almost 2 tonnes of gold worth $129.4 million.
As for the average gold price, there was a noticeable increase in 2024. Even despite some fluctuations, the average price for 1 tonne of gold in Kyrgyzstan increased from $77.1 million in October to $78.4 million in November.
