According to Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev, GDP grew by 10% over the first ten months of the year. This allowed Kyrgyzstan to enter the top three countries in the world with the highest real economic growth, according to the International Monetary Fund.
Previously, the country ranked among the top five world leaders with a growth rate of 9%.
In the budget law for 2025, GDP was set at 1 trillion 624 billion KGS. At the end of ten months, the actual figure was already 1 trillion 427.36 billion KGS. Thus, according to the updated estimate, by the end of the year, the country's economy will reach 1 trillion 779 billion KGS.
“This is 155.6 billion KGS more than the approved figure. Growth is observed in all sectors of the economy. Among them, it is worth highlighting construction, where the average annual growth was 42.8%,” he said.
At the same time, GDP per capita this year is expected to be $154 higher than forecast, namely $2,770 against the approved $2,616.
“According to the National Bank, at the end of October 2025, Kyrgyzstan's international reserves reached almost $8 billion ($7 billion 955.1 million), an increase of $3 billion 20.34 million compared to October 2024,” Kasymaliyev concluded.
