Kyrgyz nationals in Russia have been helped to recover over 121 million RUB in unpaid wages

Between November 2022 and March 2026, the Representative Office of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Labour in Russia assisted 1,643 Kyrgyz citizens in recovering unpaid wages.

The total amount recovered was 121,299,200 RUB.

In addition, 27 citizens who had suffered workplace injuries were assisted in obtaining compensation from their employers for harm caused to their health. A total of 27,772,000 RUB was paid out in this regard.

During the period in question, 3,711 appeals were examined to protect the rights of Kyrgyz citizens, and 1,291 appeals were forwarded to state authorities in the city of Moscow and the Moscow Region. The police, courts, the public prosecutor’s office and the migration services were involved in this work.

The office also actively held face-to-face consultations with citizens and provided telephone advice. A total of 59,292 people received explanations and assistance on matters of migration law and other legal issues.
