China intends to increase coal imports from Kyrgyzstan

Coal imports from Kyrgyzstan will increase significantly and transport costs will be reduced by one third. This was mentioned in a conversation with the Chinese news agency Xinhua by the chairman of the board of Xinjiang Jiujiuxi International Trade Co. Ltd Jiang Zhidong.

He also added that he products made from imported coal, including activated carbon, will be able to reach European markets in a shorter time via the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.

Recall that on 27 December, during a working trip to Jalal-Abad region, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov officially launched the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.
