11/04/2025, 14:19In 2024, there were 931 enterprises with Chinese capital operating in Kyrgyzstan, which was the highest number in the last six years. These figures were provided by the National Statistical Committee.
According to official data, the number of such companies increased by 42.4% compared to 2023 and by 61% compared to 2022, when there were only 577 enterprises with Chinese participation in the country.
Thus, after four years of decline, 2024 became a turning point. The number of companies with Chinese capital grew by almost a third in one year, exceeding the pre-pandemic level of 2019.
The increase in the number of enterprises is explained by the expansion of Chinese presence. According to data for 2024, 706 of 931 enterprises operate with full Chinese capital participation.
In total, 5,724 enterprises with foreign investment were registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2024, of which 16.3% are companies with Chinese participation.
