08/23/2025, 09:00Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan have agreed to increase trade turnover to $3 billion by 2030. The corresponding roadmap was signed on 22 August in Bishkek during a visit by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The parties also agreed to build a wholesale distribution centre near Almaty. The project will provide Kyrgyz producers with modern logistics for entering the Kazakh and international markets.
In addition, a plan for the development of tourism for 2025–2026 has been approved: new routes, promotion of national brands and growth in mutual tourist flows.
