02/13/2025, 09:07Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev during his working trip to the United Arab Emirates met with representatives of Google. Global Director of Google for Education Timothy Paolini and other representatives of the company took part in the talks.
Kasymaliyev noted that digitalisation is a key area of government policy, and cooperation with technology leaders such as Google opens up significant prospects for the country. He paid special attention to the modernisation of the educational system and integration of digital solutions into the educational process.
Recall that in April 2024, Kyrgyzstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Google Ireland Limited. Now the parties are discussing specific steps to develop the partnership: digital transformation of education, job creation in the IT sector, support for startups and training of specialists in the field of artificial intelligence and cyber security. Google representatives expressed interest in further co-operation.
