    Kyrgyzstan launches a digital literacy improvement program

    The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a program to enhance digital skills for 2025–2026, and government agencies are tasked with ensuring the implementation of the roadmap.

    The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved the Digital Literacy and Digital Skills Training Program for 2025–2026. The decision was signed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliyev.

    The document includes a Roadmap for the implementation of the program, as well as a matrix of monitoring and evaluation indicators. Government agencies have been instructed to take the necessary actions to meet the goals within the specified timeframes.

    The program is focused on three key areas: developing the institutional framework for digital literacy, ensuring citizens' access to digital educational platforms, and raising awareness of the advantages of digital literacy.
