This was stated by Yulia Shlychkova, Vice President for Government Relations at Kaspersky Lab, at the plenary session of the VII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum in Issyk-Kul.
The company already cooperates with educational institutions and is negotiating with the Kyrgyz Republic Council of Science to launch programmes for training specialists in the field of information technology.
«Ensuring digital sovereignty is impossible without understanding the emerging threats. We are ready to share our expertise in creating centres for the prevention of cyberattacks and cyber threats», — Shlychkova emphasised.
According to her, the importance of cybersecurity should be instilled from an early age.
«Issues of digital literacy and data protection need to be discussed starting in school», — she noted.
In addition, Kaspersky Lab actively conducts cyber training in cooperation with Kyrgyz government agencies, helping to improve the country's information system security.
