Small and medium-sized enterprises in Kyrgyzstan receive preferential loans worth 193.6 million KGS

As part of the Preferential Lending to SMEs project, Kyrgyz entrepreneurs received loans worth 193.5 million KGS.

The project, approved by a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on 29 April 2025, aims to support small and medium-sized businesses, stimulate economic growth, reduce poverty and develop regions and the green economy.

The Microcredit Company ‘Entrepreneurship Development Fund’ OJSC is involved in the implementation of the project. The total amount of financing for 2025 is 500 million KGS, of which 62 entities received loans worth 193.58 million KGS as of 30 October 2025.

The programme provides preferential, affordable and low-interest loans to businesses and individuals, which contributes to business development and increased economic activity in the country.
