Small and medium-sized businesses received more than 160 million KGS on preferential terms

Kyrgyzstan continues to implement a project providing preferential loans to small and medium-sized enterprises. As of 23 October, 162.13 million KGS had been issued to businesses under the project, according to the Ministry of Finance.

The Microcredit Company ‘Entrepreneurship Development Fund’ OJSC is involved in the implementation of the programme. The total amount of funding allocated for this year is 500 million KGS.

According to the Ministry of Finance, 55 entrepreneurs have received support so far.

The project was approved by a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers on 29 April 2025. Its goal is to support and develop small and medium-sized businesses, stimulate economic growth, reduce poverty, develop regions, and promote a green economy.
