During his visit to China, the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliyev, visited one of the world's largest commercial vehicle manufacturing plants, Yutong, which specialises in the production of a wide range of commercial vehicles, including city, intercity, school, gas and electric buses.
The visit was organised with the aim of studying production processes, advanced technologies and quality standards. The mayor paid particular attention to the introduction of environmentally friendly transport, which is in line with the city administration's priorities to improve the environmental situation and the quality of public transport in Bishkek.
During the visit, negotiations were held with the management of Yutong, during which the details and terms of delivery of 95 buses to Bishkek were discussed. The parties examined in detail the technical characteristics of the transport, possible delivery terms and stages of project implementation.
