International trade and logistics center “Atbashy” is being built by a domestic company

Construction of the Atbashy International Trade and Logistics Center (ITLC) continues in the Naryn region, 100 kilometers from the border with China. The project is aimed at developing the region's infrastructure and creating new opportunities for Kyrgyz businesses.

The initiators of the project are: Kara-Bulak LLP, a Kyrgyz company that is the main manager and responsible for attracting investments; Kyrgyz Pochtasy OJSC, a state-owned company responsible for storage, logistics and bonded warehouse; and Shaanxi Lingyun Logistics Co. LLP, part of Naryn Dry Port LLP.

It is noted that the Chinese partners are focusing on the logistics component of the project and technology implementation, not participating in construction and land lease.

“Full completion of construction and commissioning of all facilities is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2027. The new MTLC will combine warehouses, trade and exhibition and cargo terminals, hotels, restaurants and gas stations, turning the region into a modern center with a developed infrastructure,” the center said.

One of the key features of MTLC “Atbashy” is the first bonded warehouse in Kyrgyzstan, located in the free economic zone “Naryn”. Its status will allow residents to defer payment of customs duties and taxes until the goods are sold on the domestic market or processed, which will significantly reduce the financial burden on companies.
