The Ministry of Finance has announced the preliminary volumes of government treasury bonds to be issued in December, which will be placed on the National Bank's trading platform.
As part of the December auctions, it is planned to issue bonds with different maturities and coupon rates. A total of five auctions are planned for the last month of the year. The earliest one will take place on 5 December. On this day, two auctions will be held at once, at which 5- and 10-year bonds will be placed.
In particular, the 5-year bonds are expected to raise 1.4 billion KGS for the budget with a coupon rate of 6%. Another 3 billion is expected from the issue of 10-year government bonds. Their coupon rate will be 8%.
The next auction, for the placement of 7-year securities with a coupon rate of 7%, is scheduled for 12 December. The Ministry of Finance expects to raise 2.5 billion KGS for the budget from this auction. Finally, the last two bond auctions in December are scheduled for 19 December. As part of these auctions, the Ministry of Finance intends to raise 3.4 billion KGS for the budget through the sale of 5-year government bonds (1.4 billion KGS) and 10-year bonds (2 billion).
