Ministry of Finance plans to place securities for 5 billion KGS in January

The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan has published a calendar of state securities issues for January 2025. It is planned to issue treasury bonds (GKOs) for 4.7 billion KGS and treasury bills (TBBs) for 300.0 million KGS.

Three issues are planned within the GKO placement: 800.0 million KGS with the rate of 5% for 3 years (13 January), 1.7 billion KGS with the rate of 7% for 7 years (20 January) and 2.2 billion KGS with the rate of 8% for 10 years (27 January).

Treasury bills will be placed on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange in two tranches of 150.0 million KGS each with a maturity of 12 months. The issues will take place on 13 and 20 January.

The total volume of securities issue for the month will be 5.0 billion KGS. The raised funds will be used to cover government expenditures and maintain financial stability.
