The Ministry of Finance distributed 4 billion KGS to farmers as part of the FSK-13 project

In Kyrgyzstan, farmers continue to receive preferential loans under the Agriculture Financing-13 programme. In just nine months of the year, 4 billion 73.9 million KGS were allocated to support farmers and producers. This money goes directly to villages for feed, seeds, equipment and new technologies.

The main focus is again on livestock farming. More than 5,400 farmers engaged in livestock farming received almost 3.4 billion KGS. Crop farmers received 441 million KGS, and another 241 million KGS went to leasing agricultural equipment.

In addition, 17 million soms were allocated to the introduction of water-saving technologies.

How the money was distributed across the country:

  • Chui Region — 1,169 loans worth 744.32 million KGS;
  • Issyk-Kul Region — 1,104 loans worth 606.37 million KGS;
  • Talas Region — 659 loans worth 430.1 million KGS;
  • Naryn Region – 695 loans worth 472.84 million KGS;
  • Jalal-Abad Region – 1,256 loans worth 808.39 million KGS;
  • Osh Region – 1,132 loans worth 728.49 million KGS;
  • Batken Region – 461 loans worth 283.38 million KGS.

A total of 6,476 agricultural producers participated in the project.
