12/31/2024, 15:07The Ministry of Economy and Commerce under the leadership of First Deputy Minister Choro Seyitov held a meeting on measures to support small and medium-sized businesses.
The meeting was held under the instruction of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and gathered representatives of government agencies, the National Bank, JSC “Guarantee Fund”, commercial banks and other organizations.
The meeting considered key initiatives: preferential lending, reduction of tax rates, introduction of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), credit insurance, digitalization of business processes and development of fintech solutions. They also discussed simplification of the regulatory framework and the search for international donors to launch new financial programs.
At the end of the meeting it was decided to create an interdepartmental working group, which will develop a comprehensive program to support small and medium-sized businesses.
