10/19/2024, 17:37The "Kyrgyzavtozhol- Sever" State Enterprise has undertaken extensive reconstruction and overhaul of aviation infrastructure at several airports.
The main focus has been on runways and aerodrome elements to improve conditions for passengers and ensure the smooth operation of air transport.
At Manas International Airport, which is the main link of Kyrgyzstan's air traffic, repairs have been conducted on the asphalt concrete surface of the Juliet apron and aircraft parking areas Nos. 1-4. This provides the necessary support and convenience for pilots and airlines.
In other regions, such as Talas, where the airport has been dormant for many years, runways have now been rehabilitated. On the area of more than 100 thousand square metres asphalting has been carried out, 101 thousand 770 square metres of geogrid has been laid and more than 21 thousand cracks have been sealed with bitumen mixture. In addition, the territory of the administrative building was landscaped and asphalted.
Similar infrastructure improvement works have been carried out at the airport ‘Kazarman’. Here the works on the area of 91 thousand 500 square metres have been completed, including asphalting, and laying of geogrid and bitumen. Also, markings on the area of 3 thousand 850 square metres from thermoplastic and improvement of administrative buildings were carried out.
Airport ‘Naryn’ is not lagging, where the laying of asphalt concrete layer on 110 thousand square metres and covering 95 thousand square metres with geogrid are being carried out. At the moment, more than 80 per cent of the planned works, including landscaping, have been completed.
