According to the agency, the discussion concerned the company's modern equipment, production volumes, product quality, as well as working conditions and special conditions for workers with disabilities. The minister noted that the factory employs 350 employees, of which 8 are people with disabilities.
“We need to create conditions so that more people with disabilities can be employed. This requires a comprehensive approach, including early integration into educational processes and changing the public perception of disability,” Polotova emphasized.
As part of her visit, the minister also visited the Kyrgyz Republican Society for the Disabled, which employs 400 people, 70% of whom are people with disabilities. There they not only work, but also receive training in skills such as woodworking and welding.
The ministry supports this society in implementing socialized projects. Polotova emphasized the importance of giving people with disabilities the opportunity to earn an independent living, which strengthens their confidence in the future and their status as full members of society.
