The Kyrgyz Ministry of Labour has helped recover 2.2 million roubles in unpaid wages owed to migrant workers in Russia

The Representative Office of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan in Russia has helped a Kyrgyz citizen recover 558,000 roubles in unpaid wages.

According to the ministry, the Kyrgyz national approached the representative office with a complaint regarding non-payment of wages by the Russian company Ant Yapy LLC. Following the necessary procedures, the employer settled the debt to the employee in full.

It should be noted that Ant Yapy is a major construction firm that has been operating in the Russian market since 2005. By the end of 2025, its revenue exceeded 51 billion roubles. In recent years, the company has also been involved in a number of legal proceedings, including labour disputes.

This is not the first instance of successfully defending the labour rights of Kyrgyz nationals working in Russia. Previously, the Ministry of Labour’s representative office assisted 18 Kyrgyz citizens in recovering wage arrears from another Russian company, Prioritet LLC. On that occasion, the total amount paid out was 1,648,300 roubles.

Interestingly, according to data from open sources, OOO ‘Prioritet’ is currently in the process of liquidation. The company, registered in Moscow in 2006 and engaged in the wholesale trade of games and toys, has effectively ceased its business activities. It had no revenue in 2024–2025, and a net loss of 3.6 million roubles was recorded for 2025.
