09/27/2024, 13:44On September 26, Deputy Minister of Water Resources Almazbek Sokeev met with local producers, heads of associations and representatives of state-owned banks “Ayil Bank” and “Eldik Bank”.
They discussed issues on the introduction of water-saving methods, drip and rain irrigation technologies, tariffs for water supply, condition of hydraulic structures, BDR and BSR, pumping stations, canals, and ongoing work on the improvement of irrigation water accounting.
And with representatives of banks, discussions were held on granting favourable loans under the introduction of drip irrigation.
At the meeting, it was agreed to hold similar meetings with agricultural producers and farmers to introduce drip irrigation technologies.
