    Issues of youth, energy independence and new perspectives for Kyrgyzstan have been discussed at the scientific conference

    Bishkek hosted a scientific-practical conference ‘Foundations of Economic Miracle-2030: Jump of the Kyrgyz Leopard’, timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event discussed ways of economic development of Kyrgyzstan until 2030, issues of energy independence, as well as the role of the younger generation in shaping the future economic reality of the country.

    Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov made a report on the ‘Historical contribution of economic services’ and noted the important role of economic bodies in the development of Kyrgyzstan.

    ‘The history of world economies knows examples of incredible successes, and Kyrgyzstan is on the threshold of such a breakthrough. We are already implementing powerful reforms that will put our economy on the world stage. Our goal is to create a competitive, sustainable and prosperous Kyrgyz economy. Each of us contributes to this great endeavour with our professionalism and diligence. We are confident that the set goals will be achieved,’ Minister of Economy Daniyar Amangeldiev said.

    Two sessions were held during the conference, which addressed the country's new economic policy, agricultural revolution, transition to energy independence, investment in infrastructure and access to finance for business. The issues of regional and global trade corridors and the role of youth in creating a new economic reality in Kyrgyzstan were also touched upon.

    At the end of the event, proposals aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth and improving the business climate in the country were included in the final resolution. In addition, the event honoured outstanding academics.
