The total amount of money in circulation as of 1 April 2025 was 241 billion 723.2 million KGS. Of this amount, 22 billion 165.6 million KGS were held in commercial banks. This was reported by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, 219 billion 557.6 million were outside the banking system. Compared to the same period last year, this amount increased by 26 billion 362.7 million KGS, or 13.7%.

In the first quarter of 2025, commercial banks across the country received 1 trillion 224 billion 531 million KGS, which is 38 billion 762.4 million KGS, or 3.3%, more than in the first quarter of 2024.
