07/04/2026, 10:07In the city of Osh, construction is continuing on one of the city’s largest parks, covering an area of 10 hectares along the banks of the Ak-Buura River.
The total area of the future park is 10 hectares. To date, more than 80 per cent of the construction work has been completed. The main feature of the park will be a flower garden covering almost 1 hectare, where it is planned to plant more than 40,000 flowers adapted to local climatic conditions.
Facilities for residents will include a workout area, footpaths and cycle paths, children’s play areas and sports grounds, as well as rest areas for older people.
The park is situated at the junction of the Ak-Buura River and the Zhekelik Canal. It will stretch from Isanov Street to Bakhapov Street.
