The state has allocated 744 million KGS for the publication of textbooks in 2025

New teaching and learning materials are being distributed at the expense of the republican budget: textbooks and workbooks for pupils, and teaching guides for teachers.

To date, the Ministry of Education has signed contracts with OJSC ‘Uchkun’ for a total amount of 571.9 million KGS for the reproduction of 3 million 198 thousand 650 copies of TMC (for comparison, in 2023-2024, 1 million 490 thousand 786 textbooks were produced).
Of this amount, new teaching and learning materials for the subject ‘English’ have been published to date, with a total print run of 1,917,570 copies.

New teaching and learning materials for mathematics and natural sciences for grades 1 and 2 are also being printed, with a total print run of 1,281,080 copies.

Adapted teaching and learning kits for mathematics and natural sciences for grades 5 and 7, as well as Nariste. Alippe for grade 1, are being prepared for printing.

Textbooks on Russian language and literature, adapted by a working group from Kyrgyzstan and Russia, will be printed in Russia and delivered to schools in Kyrgyzstan in October 2025.
The Ministry of Education has launched the Okou Kitebi online platform. The platform will ensure the educational process, regardless of the delivery times of printed textbooks, and will become a single digital resource for accessing them. For the convenience of students, parents and teachers, the ‘Okuu Kitebi’ platform will be integrated with the “Kundoluk” and ‘Sanarip Kampa’ systems.

Students will be able to use the textbooks in electronic form free of charge and, after authorisation, download them for offline use.
