A new transformer with a 25,000-kilowatt capacity was installed at the Ala-Buka substation

A new SFSZ transformer with a 25,000-kilowatt capacity has been installed at the 110/35/10 kV Ala-Buka substation of the Jalal-Abad Electric Networks Enterprise as part of the capital construction plan, replacing the old transformer with a 10,000-kilowatt capacity. The press service of the Ministry of Energy provides the information.

The substation, built in 1990, has provided electricity to consumers in Ala-Buka district for many years. Still, as the number of subscribers increased, there were problems with the quality of supplied energy due to high consumption during peak hours.

The new transformer will significantly improve the quality of power supply, especially during peak load periods. The ‘SFSZ’ model is characterised by high weather resistance and ease of operation.

In addition, a 6,300-kilowatt transformer was replaced with a more powerful 10,000-kilowatt transformer at the Ak-Korgon substation in Ala-Buka district. The Ak-Korgon substation, built in 1994, serves 6 thousand 525 consumers in Ak-Korgon village, which is part of the total subscriber base of the district, totalling 25,600 consumers.
