The National Bank has extended Green Telecom Service's license to issue “O!Money” payment cards

The Committee on Payment Systems and Digital Financial Technologies of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has extended the validity of the license held by Green Telecom Service LLC to conduct banking operations under a special regulatory regime.

The relevant resolution was adopted on March 18 of this year. According to the document, the license has been extended until September 20, subject to compliance with the requirements and conditions set forth in the technical specifications.

Under the license, the company will continue to issue payment cards providing access to “O!Money” e-wallets. This includes both virtual payment cards and physical cards, which allow users to make cashless payments and use digital financial services.

The renewal of the license under a special regulatory regime is aimed at further developing digital payment instruments, expanding access to financial services, and testing innovative solutions in the payment services market.
