The National Bank entered the currency market with its fifth intervention

Today, 1 October, the National Bank entered the Kyrgyz currency market, selling $38 million.

It sold the entire amount with settlements on a date other than the date of the transaction.

This is the regulator's fifth intervention this year. Since the beginning of 2025, it has entered the market several times to sell dollars. The last major intervention took place in April, when the National Bank sold about $158.3 million.
