Incorrect date of vehicle declaration resulted in a fine of 3.7 million KGS

Employees of the Anti-Smuggling Department of the North-Eastern Customs Office, while inspecting vehicles imported from third countries, discovered cases of false declarations.

Seven Toyota Corolla cars were imported for citizens of Kyrgyzstan (B.B.Zh.,

A.A.B., S.N.N., and H.H.Z.) received seven Toyota Corolla cars. The stickers indicated April 2018, but experts and the official dealer Avtocentre Perekrestok confirmed that these cars were manufactured in January 2018. The difference in the date of manufacture resulted in customs duties arrears amounting to KGS 2.42 million.

A similar case was identified with a Toyota Land Cruiser that arrived for citizen T.u.B. The stickers indicate June 2019, but the actual date of manufacture is March 2017. The amount of unpaid duties on this car amounted to almost 1.5 million KGS.

All materials have been registered in the AIS ZUI ERP system and forwarded to the Investigation Department of the State Customs Service for further investigation.
